Organised by National Museums Liverpool’s International Slavery Museum, the Walk of Remembrance is a walk through Liverpool city centre via points tied to the slave trade. There was live music, vital talks and moments of reflection. The city was built on slavery. It’s important to recognise the past to avoid repeating it.
